Nestled in the wonderful community of Maple Grove, Weaver Lake is a source of enjoyment for both residents and visitors alike.
Weaver Lake in Maple Grove, MN (Hennepin County) is approximately 154 acres in size and 57 feet deep. The shoreline is partially developed with residential with 98 homes. The remainder of shoreline consists of natural areas, park, and beach. Adjacent to the lake is the public Weaver Lake Beach and Park, which is a joy to residents and visitors alike.Weaver Lake is known for its great fishing and water recreation; and its park (Weaver Lake Park) comes complete with lifeguards, concession stand, playground, ball courts, and much more!
Weaver Lake is home to a variety of fish and vegetation. The dominant species of fish in the lake is Bluegill. However, other fish commonly caught are Black Crappie, Hybrid Sunfish, Pumkinseed, Largemouth Bass, and Northern Pike. The elusive Tiger Muskellunge and Walleye are also surely present, but good luck catching them!
This Website is managed by the Weaver Lake Conservation Association (WLCA), a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of volunteers living within the Weaver Lake Watershed.
The WLCA’s mission is dedicated to conserving and protecting Weaver Lake, its adjacent marshlands and parks, its fish and wildlife, and the aesthetic appearance of the lake and its surrounding area.
The Association intends to promote community activities and develop an awareness among its members and area residents to assist in the protection of Weaver Lake.
