Weaver Lake in Maple Grove, MN (Hennepin County) is approximately 154 acres in size and 57 feet deep. The shoreline is partially developed with residential with 98 homes. The remainder of shoreline consists of natural areas, park, and beach. Adjacent to the lake is the public Weaver Lake Beach and Park, which is a joy to residents and visitors alike. Weaver Lake is home to a variety of fish and vegetation. The dominant species of fish in the lake is Bluegill. However, other fish commonly caught are Black Crappie, Hybrid Sunfish, Pumkinseed, Laremouth Bass, and Northern Pike. The elusive Tiger Muskellunge and Walleye are also surely present, but good luck catching them! |
