Weaver Lake Area Garage Sales - Changes this year !

Weaver Lake Conservation Association (WLCA) has sponsored garage sales around Weaver Lake for many years.

This year WLCA is changing its involvement in the area garage sales.

We know many of you will be having garages sales this year and to help you have successful sales -

WLCA will:

* be putting up the pink "Garage Sales" signs along 101, between 94 and Dunkirk, and other places around the Weaver Lake area to guide buyers to your sales; and

* be putting up "No Parking" signs on one side of Weaver Lake Dr. to help control traffic.

WLCA will NOT:

* be placing advertisements in local newspapers;

* be putting out a sales guide;

* be placing port-a-potties around the lake;

* be collecting a fee to help cover the costs associated with the garage sales; nor

* be selling food and beverages on Saturday.
