MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR 2012 WLCA EVENTS

  • Feb 25th 2-4pm - 1st Annual "Ice Fest" was a big success : )


  • March 3rd - Lake Clean Up CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER


  • March 22nd 7 pm - Lake Improvement Kick-Off Meeting (Home of Kathie and Richard White: 16907 Weaver Lk Dr)


  • Early April - Curlyleaf Pondweed Treatment

Treatment occured April 30th 2012.  We were able to get a variance to treat 25 acres this year!

  • April 7th 10 am - Easter Egg Hunt, Weaver Lake Park (meet at concession stand)

Event was well attended this year despite the weather

  • May 5th - Weaver Lake Garage Sale

 

  • June 15th - Music in the Park (Weaver Lake Park Pavilion, 6 pm Dinner, 7 pm Music)

WLCA will provide chicken, plates and napkins.  Please bring your own beverage, a dish to share, and lawn chairs.


  • July 14th 11-1:30 - Take a Kid Fishing (Public pier at Weaver Lake Park)
Children ages 5-12 can learn about water safety, how to cast, and how to identify fish.  Poles and bait provided.  Kids must be accompanied by an adult

  • August 17th, 7-9pm - Ice Cream Social (Roger and Nancy Bergstrand's home 17927 Weaver Lake Drive)
Bring the whole family and join your neighbors for an old fashioned ice cream social.  Ice cream and toppings will be provided.

  • August 25th - Maple Grove Triathalon
